YMCA Pool 7” Coming January 26 via Saddle Creek's “Document Series”

This is the cover of our new 7-inch, YMCA Pool. Check out a sneak preview of “Sea of Blood”. "I've had these songs lying around forever and could never really find a place for them on a record," says Ellen, who wrote "Sea of Blood" when she was 17. "After we toured with Bully 2 summers ago, Alicia Bognanno offered to record some stuff  for me at her house in Nashville, which seemed like a great opportunity. We spent two days hiding from the heat in her house recording... and also at Dave and Buster's. My friend Sami Martasian did the cover art." The record will be available on January 26 as part of Saddle Creek’s Document series, which highlights artists from around the world that they have fallen in love with. You can preorder your own copy HERE.

Stereogum Debuts New Music Video For "Room"

from A Place I'll Always Go

We're really excited to release the beautifully illustrated new music video for, “Room,” created by the amazing Rozalina Burkova

Ellen found Rozalina’s art randomly on the internet one day and became obsessed. She adores the way she draws bodies and relates to her characters, so she decided Rozalina would be the perfect artist to bring to life the queer love behind "Room". After working on the video Rozalina shared a similar sentiment, noting that "working with Ellen on this video has probably been my favorite project this year. Her sole requirement for me was to animate a queer love story, and I think what came out is a pretty intimate but fun romance."
